Tuesday’s school board election results:

In the Estancia, incumbent Kendra Otis defeated challenger Robert Chavez.  In Mountainair, incumbent Frances Gonzales held on to her position with 220 votes compared to write-in challenger Peter Nieto’s 100 votes.  In the Moriarty-Edgewood School District, incumbent Elizabeth Howells defeated Phil Anaya.  Additionally, voters in the Moriarty-Edgewood School District extended a 2 mill levy for six years.  More information at http://www.mvtelegraph.com/2015/02/04/incumbents-retain-seats-on-area-school-boards/
